Palmetto Fundraising has a lenient return policy that removes the stress from volunteers who have invested their own money and time into fundraising. We believe that fundraising should be easy and fun, and our return policy reflects those beliefs. Please familiarize yourself with our return policy before purchasing.
How do I return a product? To return a product, contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and request an RMA number. Be sure to include your order number as well as any other pertinent information. We will reply with an RMA number and the correct procedure for returning the item(s).
My items did not arrive in time for my event. May I return my order for a full refund? You may return a product for any reason. The product must be in its original condition with all the original packaging and materials. Because we ask that all buyers purchase their items at least ten (10) business days prior to the date of their event, if an order does not arrive for your event and your order was not placed within these parameters, shipping will not be refunded. We also do not refund shipping if a package is refused, attempted delivery, returned for insufficient address or forwarded due to a mail forward.
How long do I have to return a product? You have 90 days from the date of purchase to return a product to Palmetto Fundraising. You may return a product for any reason. The product must be in its original condition with all the original packaging and materials. Returns outside of the 90 day window are solely at our discretion.
Are there any fees for returning a product? You may return up to 20% (by dollar value) of an order without incurring a restocking fee. If you return more than 20% of a given order, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee on the amount in excess of 20%. There is no restocking fee for defective products or products that are returned as a result of a mistake by Palmetto Fundraising.
Example: You make a $1000 order. You wish to return $300 worth of products from that order. The first 20%, or $200, incurs no restocking fee. The remaining $100 incurs a 15% restocking fee of $15.
Will I receive my original shipping fees back? You will not receive any of the original shipping fees as part of your refund for returned products. If you received free shipping with your order, then our actual cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. If a product is deemed defective, you will receive your original shipping fees back for that item or we will pay the shipping fees to ship you a replacement.
Why do you deduct shipping costs from my refund when I received free shipping? Free shipping is included with some orders as a convenience to our buyers. Of course, we ultimately absorb the cost to ship your items even though you were not charged shipping for them. If you decide to return those items, only the actual cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. We deduct the shipping amount because there is no way for us to recoup that cost otherwise. If a product is deemed defective, you will receive your original shipping fees back for that item or we will pay the shipping fees to ship you a replacement.
Who pays to ship the item back to Palmetto Fundraising? You are responsible for any costs related to shipping a product back to Palmetto Fundraising for a return. We suggest you use a method of shipping that has some type of tracking and insurance. We are not responsible for return packages lost and/or damaged in transit. If a product is deemed defective, we will assume the cost of returning those items which are defective.
